Privacy policy

Your data is shared with no one. We only use it to keep you part of the community, not more, not less.

No ads, no tracking, no analytics, and we never sell or pass on your details. Below is exactly what we store, why, and who helps us run the site.

Who is responsible

[Full name or association name]
[Street and number, postcode, city, Germany]
Email: hello@properparty.de

What we store and why

Newsletter. Your email address (and your name, if you give it), so we can tell you about our next parties. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Party registration. Your name and email, which party you registered for, your guest list status, whether and how you paid (PayPal or at the door, and the amount), and when you were checked in. We need this to manage registrations, the waitlist and entry on the night (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep this history to know who is part of our community and who came to which party (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our interest in running the community).

If you leave the newsletter switch on when registering, your email is also added to the newsletter (consent, as above).

Who helps us run the site

We don't share your data with anyone for their own purposes. To run the site, these services process it on our behalf, under data processing agreements and only as we instruct:

  • Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA) hosts the website.
  • Supabase (Supabase Inc., USA) hosts our database in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • Resend (Resend Inc., USA) sends our confirmation emails.

Where data may reach the USA, these providers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

PayPal. If you pay online, you pay on PayPal's own site and PayPal's privacy policy applies. We only see the payment in our PayPal account.

Photo albums. Links to our photo albums open Google Photos, where Google's privacy policy applies.

Cookies and tracking

Guests get no cookies and no tracking. Our fonts are served from our own site, not from Google. The only cookie we use keeps our organisers logged in to the admin area.

How long we keep it

Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Party registrations and attendance: for as long as we run the community, or until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to get a copy of it (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can withdraw your newsletter consent at any time. Just email hello@properparty.de and we'll take care of it, including removing you from every party and the newsletter at once.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
